Women's empowerment is incomplete without economic empowerment of women and digital literacy in women should get priority over women's empowerment, and it entrusts them in the right direction giving them greater control over their money and savings. Education and awareness amongst women on mobile banking and digital skilling programs enables them in the right direction to their traditional and new businesses
Closing the digital gap and boosting opportunities for women to participate equally in economic life will be crucial to sustaining India’s development gains and enabling a stronger and more inclusive recovery.
In today’s world, companies need to be constantly vigilant about their cyber security. The threat of a data breach or intellectual property theft is always looming in the background.
So it is very important to develop a culture of security that has long been awaited
It's also important for us to be socially responsible as a business as cyber attacks can spread quickly. The more networks that become infected, the more at-risk other networks become. And one network’s weakness increases the overall threat to others.
WICCI in association with loom had realized the same and organized Walkathon 03 to spread awareness of Digital literacy and cyber security. There where more than 150 women contributed during the Walkathon 03 by building a digital footprint on the cause so that they can build a bright and safe ecosystem for all women entrepreneurs across northeast India
