In celebration of International Women's Day 2026, a powerful two-part panel series titled “The Abundance Loop: Give To Gain A Gender-Equal World” brought together visionary women leaders, changemakers, and industry experts to explore how generosity, collaboration, and conscious leadership can build a more equitable and sustainable future.

Organized by Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with SAARC Business Council India and Sustainaverse, the event featured She Business Time as the special media partner, amplifying voices that are shaping a gender-equal and sustainable world.

Centered on the transformative philosophy of abundance over scarcity, the panel series explored how acts of giving—whether giving recognition, creating platforms, or protecting the planet—can create a ripple effect of collective growth and opportunity.

The Alchemy of Craft: Heritage, Sustainability, and Women’s Empowerment

The first panel, “The Alchemy of Craft,” explored the soulful intersection of heritage, sustainability, and inclusive economic growth.

The session featured acclaimed designer Paromita Banerjee, celebrated for her commitment to traditional Indian textiles, alongside Surucchi Khubchandani, founder of Third Soil and a passionate advocate for craft communities and climate-conscious design.

The speakers highlighted how supporting artisans, reviving heritage crafts, and embracing conscious design can strengthen both cultural identity and environmental sustainability. By “giving” visibility and dignity to artisans and nurturing the soil that sustains natural resources, the creative economy gains authenticity, resilience, and long-term sustainability.

Their insights emphasized that craft traditions hold generations of knowledge, and integrating them into modern design can pave the way for a gender-equal and environmentally responsible future.

The Architecture of Impact: Leadership, Policy, and Representation

The second panel, “The Architecture of Impact,” expanded the discussion into the realms of corporate governance, legal frameworks, and media representation.

The panel featured distinguished leaders including Dr. Alakananda Das, Founder and CEO of The Looms Ecopreneurs Federation, President of WICCI India ASEAN Business Council, G100 Country Chair, and President of ABWCI N.E. Region.

Joining her were Dr. Gargi Chatterjea, Executive Director at CESC Limited, and Bornali Biswas, Editor-in-Chief of News Mania and Chairman of the Bharat Dignity Awards.

The discussion focused on how institutional frameworks, inclusive policies, and responsible storytelling can drive meaningful systemic change for women across industries. Panelists emphasized that when organizations give opportunities, equitable policies, and inclusive representation, society gains stronger economies, empowered communities, and sustainable development.

Special Appearance by Global Women’s Empowerment Leader

The event also featured a special appearance by Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, a globally recognized champion of women’s leadership and economic empowerment.

Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai is the Founder of G100, ALL Ladies League, Women Economic Forum, Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and SHEconomy, platforms that collectively empower women entrepreneurs and leaders across the world. She has also served as Former Chancellor of Jharkhand Rai University and Chairwoman of the Board of SHEconomy, and has been recognized among the Top 100 Most Reputable People on Earth by Reputation Poll.

Her inspiring message reinforced the importance of global sisterhood, collaboration, and purpose-driven leadership in creating a future where women rise together and drive meaningful societal transformation.

Building an Ecosystem of Abundance

The panel series concluded with a powerful message: gender equality flourishes in an ecosystem of abundance, collaboration, and shared growth.

By giving recognition, creating opportunities, and nurturing both people and the planet, leaders across industries can build a future where women’s voices, creativity, and leadership thrive.

As the special media partner, She Business Time continues to highlight such transformative conversations, amplifying initiatives that champion women leaders and promote inclusive economic development worldwide.
