Webinar on Women’s Mental Health and Well-being Successfully Concluded on 22nd March 2025

Guwahati, 22rd March 2025:

Janitri, a flagship initiative of the KRB Foundation, successfully hosted a transformative Webinar on Women’s Mental Health and Well-being on 22nd March 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The event addressed critical aspects of women’s mental health, focusing on emotional resilience, relationship dynamics, and holistic well-being.


The webinar featured an esteemed panel of experts:

Dr. Mani Das – Certified Life Coach and Relationship Expert with 8+ years of experience who guided individuals and couples, including Indian Armed Forces personnel, to strengthen communication and build emotional intimacy.

Dr. Suchismita Sinha – Renowned psychologist and mental health advocate, former HOD at Sarojini Naidu College for Women, and President of the Foundation for Stress Management and Research.

Anamika Baruah – Wellness expert and social advocate who promoted mental health awareness and emotional balance through holistic approaches.

The session highlighted:

During the welcome address, Dr. Shakti Mishra emphasized, “Empowering women goes beyond financial independence. It involves creating safe spaces where women can strengthen their emotional resilience and well-being. This webinar was a step toward that goal.”

Dr. Mani Das said that "Gratitude, start everyday with positive state with increasing hormonal effect. Self care and self love is very important. AND SAYING NO to toxicity should be done by women on everyday basis.

Dr.Suchismita Sinha shared that "Gender equality needs to be normalized, primenopause hormone care should be done and at the time of pregnancy women should be provided support"

Anamika Baruah stated that "Taking help from experts, mental wellbeing helps in healing one from within. Support like reiki therapy, yoga, holistic approach is all that we need to inculcate in everyday life".

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and concluded with an engaging Q&A session that allowed attendees to interact with the speakers and gain deeper insights into fostering emotional and mental well-being.
