New Delhi, June 21, 2025 — Marking the 11th International Yoga Day, Janitri International celebrated the occasion with a special yoga session at its India Center, embracing this year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The event was led by noted physiotherapist and wellness advocate Dr. Shakti Mishra and witnessed vibrant participation virtually from across India and abroad.
Held at 10:30 AM, the session at the India Center focused on promoting holistic health, mindful living, and community wellness. Dr. Mishra guided attendees through a series of asanas and breathing techniques, emphasizing yoga as a bridge between individual health and collective well-being. “Yoga is the path to inner harmony, and when we heal ourselves, we also heal our surroundings,” she shared.
What made the celebration unique was the pan-global participation from Janitri leaders and ambassadors spread across diverse regions:
Shaifaly Sangal joined in from Delhi, adding a vibrant voice from the capital.
Sandi Saksena, a celebrated wellness leader, participated from Dubai, highlighting Janitri’s international reach.
Dhanarani Kumari led yoga awareness efforts from Manipur, emphasizing the importance of regional inclusion.
Chandana Bordoloi and Bhugeswari Changmai participated from Assam, echoing the message of wellness in Northeast India.
From Kolkata, Vandana Teji and Dr. Suchismita Sinha engaged with local communities to promote the integration of yoga into daily life.
Together, these leaders formed a powerful chorus advocating for “One Earth, One Health,” blending the personal practice of yoga with global solidarity.
Janitri’s celebration echoed the spirit of the larger national and global movement. Across India, more than 2 crore people practiced yoga at over 1 lakh locations. Internationally, yoga sessions were held at iconic landmarks from Times Square in New York to Tokyo and London.
Through this celebration, Janitri International reaffirmed its mission—to empower individuals, especially women and mothers, with tools for mental, physical, and emotional well-being. The Yoga Day observance was not just an event, but a powerful reminder that wellness, when shared, becomes a movement.
Janitri’s initiative served as a reminder that wellness begins within, and when individuals are empowered, societies thrive.
