Currently serving as the Managing Director of StartUp Barreiro, Portugal, she leads a complex public technology fund focused on urban digital transformation and startup incubation. Her work bridges public policy, innovation, and economic development, helping create thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems that foster sustainable growth and opportunity.

Throughout her professional journey—from managing large-scale university operations to mentoring and advising entrepreneurs—Nádia identified a recurring challenge: women founders possess extraordinary resilience, creativity, and ambition, yet often lack access to strategic networks, mentorship, and structural support systems necessary for scaling their ventures.

Driven by a commitment to change this reality, she co-founded Dame Changers, an influential economic hub and international summit dedicated to amplifying women's voices and leadership in the global economy. The summit, held in Cascais, Portugal, in March 2026, brought together leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and accelerate women's economic participation worldwide.

Beyond her leadership roles, Nádia is a PhD researcher specializing in Smart Tourism and sustainable ecosystems. Her philosophy of “learning by doing” reflects her practical approach to leadership—one grounded in action, experimentation, and continuous growth.

At the heart of her mission lies a simple yet powerful belief: when women are provided with the right structures, networks, and opportunities, they become catalysts for economic transformation.
